Making Known God's Goodness...

Sisters of Notre Dame, women with hearts as wide as the world, make known God’s goodness and love with and among people living in poverty, through a Gospel way of life, community and prayer.

Continuing a strong educational tradition, we take our stand with people living in poverty, especially women and children, in the most abandoned places.

Each of us commits her one and only life to work with others to create justice and peace for all.

1. No poverty (SDG 1):We enhance economic opportunities, improve education and extend social protection in our communities. It is crucial to deliver on central commitment to end poverty and leave no one behind.
2. Zero Hunger (SDG 2): We prioritize food security for child headed families and families living in poverty ensuring they receive necessary nutritious meals, and a supportive environment to thrive.
3. Quality Education (SDG 4): We strive to improve access to quality education for orphaned and vulnerable children, believing that education is a fundamental right and a key driver of sustainable development.
4. Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10): By providing equal opportunities and support to all children, regardless of their background or circumstances, we contribute to reducing inequalities within our community.
5. Climate change (SDG 13): We partner with other countries to come up with scalable solutions to enable a leapfrog to cleaner, more resilient, and low- carbon economies
6. Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17): We recognize the importance of collaboration and partnerships in achieving sustainable development. Through strategic alliances with local stakeholders, government bodies, and international organizations, we amplify our impact and reach more children in need.
